Harrowed Fields - Corn
Single channel video and ceramic
4x72x108 inches
2016

This work makes commentary on corn and my family's heritage of farming going back to Switzerland, where my Great Grandfather was born.

A study of planting and growth of a local corn field. The video was shot when the corn was in the silk stage. The tear drop shapes represent the seed and water.

This work was installed at Maryville College, Harrisburg Area Community College and Keystone Art and Culture Center.
